This Privacy Policy describes how Datanetics ("Datanetics", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information through the Go Get Plant Hire mobile application ("the App"), used by field technicians and other authorised personnel to manage equipment maintenance, job cards, and related field records.
The App is provided for use by authorised employees and contractors of the organisations Datanetics serves, and is not intended for use by members of the public.

The App does not automatically collect crash reports or usage analytics in the background. Diagnostic information is only sent when you explicitly choose to send it.
We never collect your PIN, PIN hash, or passwords in diagnostic uploads or logs. Location is captured only when a relevant form is open, not continuously, and only if you have granted the App location permission.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Information you submit is visible to authorised staff at your organisation (supervisors, managers, and administrators) as part of normal equipment management operations. It is not shared with third parties, except:
Job card, equipment, and maintenance data is retained for as long as your organisation maintains records of the related equipment, in line with standard business record-keeping practices. Diagnostic uploads are retained only as long as needed to investigate the issue they relate to, and are periodically reviewed for deletion.
If you are located in South Africa, your information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable time.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the App and our servers, and access controls restricting who within your organisation can view field records.
The App is intended solely for use by authorised working adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
